How do students verify their school on Clubs?

In the app: Profile, then the school email card, then a six-digit code. Verification gates everything school-specific, and skipping it is the most common setup mistake.

How do students join a club?

Three ways, chosen by the club. An open club auto-joins anyone who swipes up. A club with auditions or tryouts takes applications with its own questions, and accepts or declines. A club that already has its own form can redirect, so swiping up sends the student to that link.

How does a school get a dashboard?

An activities office applies once and Clubs maps the school's email domains — including the student subdomains that are usually the reason verification fails. The dashboard shows which clubs are running on campus, who runs them and how many members they have. It does not show member lists.

Does Clubs cost anything for a student organization?

No. Running a student organization on Clubs is free, and activities offices can apply for a school dashboard at no cost.

Verify your school email Profile → school email card → six-digit code. Skipping this is the most common mistake; it gates everything school-specific.

Create the club Name, location, summary, cover. Your summary decides who gets shown your club — write it in the words students use.

Pick how people join One setting, four options — see below.

Write two or three questions Only if you're selective. Every extra question costs you real applicants.

Publish and grab your link You get a permanent clubsapp.org/p/… link and a share card. QR it onto the table at the activities fair.

Add a second admin on day one — one co-admin is supported, and a club whose only admin has finals stops accepting members for three weeks.

Open club Auto-join — they swipe up and they're in, instantly. If you've never turned anyone away, this is you.

Auditions or tryouts Standard + your questions — they apply, you accept or decline.

You already have a form Redirect — swiping up sends them to your link. Clubs collects nothing.

Officers or a closed group Invite-only — hidden from the deck and search; the only way in is a link you send.

A team inside a bigger org Branch of an umbrella project — members of the umbrella see it on their deck; everyone else doesn't. Or make the branch public, and it shows to everyone regardless of the parent.

Campus-only, any of the above School-only — a separate checkbox. Only verified students at your school see it.
