Organizations

An organization is an account a club owns rather than a person. Switch into it and everything you post, send and create belongs to the club — and stays with the club when you graduate.

Start an organization

Three things, and then we email the club to prove the address works.

What people should see. You can use spaces and capitals here.

Lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. This is permanent.

Not yours. A club address — photoclub@yourschool.edu, a shared inbox, anything the club keeps hold of.

Why it can't be your personal address. This address is the organization's recovery path: it's where the code goes when nobody left can get in. If it's your inbox, then the club's password reset and yours are the same email — and the account leaves with you the day you graduate. Handing the club to next year's president has to work without you.
