The Art Students League of New York has open applications for Works in Public, an exclusive public art program in partnership with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation. Artists create sculptures for year-long public exhibitions at Riverside Park. Participants gain hands-on experience with materials and processes for original public art, and receive a monthly stipend plus a scholarship for a full-time class at the League for the program's duration.
